If you want a bigger line I would use a 3/8 but I would highly recommend that you use a 1/8 inch line. The reason I like this size is because it makes everything look nice and clean.

Diagonal lines – Now something that many people do for the design effect is use diagonal lines but this also works to make the room look bigger. If you don’t have a very big room then the diagonal lines will take people’s sight off of the walls and make them look at the floors. Trust me, this trick works better than you think it would.

If you can do all of these things then your room will look much bigger. When it comes to buying tile you can sometimes find cheap tile flooring but the truth is that you should not beat yourself up over a few cents per tile.
